OPIRG Carleton is a student-led, student-funded non-profit based at Carleton University. We aim to research, educate and provide action on social and environmental justice using a non-hierarchical and consensus based space for students to organize.
Every month OPIRG hosts a variety of programming including workshops, book club discussions, talks, actions, community discussions, and so much more. Follow us on social media to stay up to date on all of our events!
We also have working groups—groups of people working together towards a common goal while sharing responsibilities and decisions equally. They function autonomously with funding and programming support as needed from OPIRG – Carleton. Together with our volunteers, working groups are the heart of OPIRG-Carleton. Check out our current working groups here.
